EU gives Kosovo four months to establish Association of Serb Municipalities

The European Union made it clear to Kosovo institutions that they have only four months to establish the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities. Their reaction came after Blerim Shala, political advisor to President Hashim Thaci, said that there will be no establishment of Association without signing final agreement with Serbia. Also Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj said on Wednesday that this mechanism should be established simultaneously with the reaching of final agreement with Serbia. But the EU asks the Association agreement to be fully implemented without any further delay.
