Euro and British pound continue to weaken against ALL

TIRANA, August 14 – Major foreign currencies recorded slight movements against the ALL, according to the Bank of Albania’s official exchange rate.

The euro fell by 0.09 ALL from the previous day and trades at €1 = 92.92 ALL. Meanwhile, the British pound declined by 0.22 ALL and trades at £1 = 108.70 ALL.

The Swiss franc also weakened slightly, falling by 0.01 ALL to CHF 1 = 99.26 ALL. In contrast, the US dollar rose by 0.01 ALL from Wednesday’s rate and trades at $1 = 80.59 ALL.

The figures reflect movements in the official exchange rates of major currencies on the domestic market. International market trends influence these movements, along with local supply and demand.

At the same time, increased foreign currency inflows from tourists and remittances are affecting the domestic market during the summer season.
