European Olympic Committees Hold 55th General Assembly with Albanian Participation

President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee Komiteti Olimpik Kombëtar Shqiptar, Fidel Ylli, attends the 55th General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees.

The event takes place under the European Olympic movement and stands as one of the most important meetings in the continental sports calendar.

The European Olympic Committees Assembly opens under the leadership of its President Spyros Capralos. The session also includes the President of the International Olympic Committee Kirsty Coventry.

Delegates discuss key challenges and priorities for European sport over the next two days. They also focus on the development of youth sports and Olympic values.

Meanwhile, the Albanian delegation participates actively with senior institutional representatives. They engage in discussions on sports policy and international cooperation.

In addition, Ylli meets several European sports leaders and counterparts from different countries. He strengthens cooperation and builds institutional partnerships to support sports development.

The Assembly continues with sessions on sports policy, youth development, and strengthening the Olympic movement across Europe.
