TIRANA, May 5 – Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images today from the 8th summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan, Armenia. The summit brought together 48 heads of state and government from across the continent under the motto “Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe”.
Rama published key moments and meetings from the summit. He highlighted Albania’s engagement in this major political forum. He said Albania was heard with attention and respect during the discussions.
The summit took place in a period of deep geopolitical change. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation among European countries. Leaders also addressed coordination to improve democratic resilience, as well as economic and energy connectivity and security.
The event was co-chaired by European Council President Antonio Costa and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Albania’s participation confirms its commitment to active involvement in European strategic discussions. It also underlines its aim to contribute to a more stable, secure, and united Europe.
