Family-run agritourism guesthouse promotes local flavors in Berat

Agritourism continues to grow in Berat as family-run businesses promote local products and traditional cuisine while attracting more visitors. In a social media post, Prime Minister Edi Rama highlighted the ALDOR guesthouse in the village of Syzez.

The family-run guesthouse welcomes both Albanian and international visitors in a traditional setting and serves meals prepared with fresh local ingredients. Moreover, ALDOR works with around 10 farming families, bringing authentic flavors from the Berat region to the table while supporting local producers.

As a result, the business contributes to the development of agritourism and helps strengthen the rural economy.

Overall, investments in agritourism continue to revive rural communities by promoting local products, culinary traditions and Albania’s natural attractions.
