Ferit Hoxha meets Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis in Delphi

Ferit Hoxha held a meeting with Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis on the sidelines of the Delphi Economic Forum. They continued a constructive dialogue on Albanian–Greek relations.

Hoxha said the meeting followed earlier talks between the two Prime Ministers in Athens. He said both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen cooperation based on trust, good neighbourly relations, and strategic partnership within NATO and the EU framework.

Moreover, both countries agreed to activate dedicated teams to address unresolved issues. They will work at all levels to find balanced and sustainable solutions that benefit both nations and their citizens.

In addition, Hoxha said Albania and Greece will expand cooperation in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and tourism. He also emphasized stronger connectivity and increased people-to-people exchanges.

Furthermore, Hoxha thanked Greece for its continued support for Albania’s EU membership bid. He also welcomed Greece’s advocacy for EU enlargement in the Western Balkans and its role in keeping the issue high on the European agenda.

Finally, he welcomed the Delphi Declaration, calling it a renewed commitment to turning EU enlargement promises into concrete results.
