First International Easter Egg Exhibition in Korçë

Orthodox Easter is historically celebrated beautifully in Korçë. This city is known for its rich traditions.

This Easter, visitors to Korçë can enjoy a unique artistic experience. The exhibition “Code of Life” by Maria Shukulli opens at the Guri Madhi Gallery.

The exhibition presents for the first time in Albania and the Balkans a unique collection of Easter eggs. These eggs are artistically decorated using traditional craft techniques from Romania, Poland, Ukraine, and Albania.

“Code of Life” features a rare collection curated for over a year. The choice of Korçë is deliberate. The city’s tradition, atmosphere, and unique way of celebrating holidays make it the perfect host.

The exhibition aims to become an annual tradition. It will enrich Korçë’s cultural life year after year.
