Fiscal Peace Agreement applications close on 5 June 2026

TIRANA, June 4 – The Tax Administration has set 5 June 2026 as the deadline for applications to the Fiscal Peace Agreement and called on taxpayers to meet all legal conditions. The procedure runs online through the “e-filing” system.

Meanwhile, the process covers registered taxpayers, including individuals and business entities under corporate income tax and personal income tax from business activity. In addition, applicants must meet strict legal criteria, including economic activity in Albania, declared gross income above 14 million ALL for the previous tax year, no unpaid or undeclared tax liabilities, and no criminal proceedings or tax investigations.

For submission, taxpayers must use the “e-filing” system under the “My Cases” section and select “General request”. After that, they must upload all required documentation, including application forms, institutional certificates, and legal self-declarations. Following verification, the Tax Administration will issue electronic decisions within five calendar days, and in any case not later than 10 June 2026.

In parallel, approved taxpayers must submit signed documentation to the relevant Regional Tax Directorate or through “e-filing” within five days of notification, with a final deadline of 15 June 2026. Separately, taxpayers who plan to restate financial statements must complete obligations by 30 June 2026, including tax payments, corrected financial statements, and supporting documents.

Finally, the Tax Administration warned that late applications will not be accepted and confirmed that submissions after 5 June 2026 will be rejected.
