FM Hoxha attends Delphi Forum, focus on EU enlargement in Western Balkans

TIRANA, April 22 – Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, is participating in the Delphi Economic Forum in Greece. The agenda includes high-level discussions on regional cooperation and European Union enlargement.

Hoxha joins a ministerial meeting of foreign ministers from the Western Balkans and European Union member states. Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis hosts the meeting at a key moment for the region’s EU integration process.

Participants aim to reaffirm commitment to EU enlargement and strengthen political cooperation. They also seek to set the groundwork for further progress ahead of Greece’s future role in the EU Council presidency.

Discussions focus on shared priorities, including energy security and regional connectivity. Ministers also address transport integration and digital transformation across the Western Balkans.

Hoxha holds a bilateral meeting with Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis during his stay in Delphi. He also takes part in panel discussions on regional and international challenges, including EU enlargement policy.
