FM Hoxha marks Kosova Liberation Day

TIRANA, June 12 – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha extended greetings on Kosova Liberation Day.

In his message, Hoxha said June 12 marks one of the defining moments in Kosova’s modern history. He described the date as the end of a painful period of violence, repression and ethnic cleansing.

Meanwhile, the minister said the day also marked the beginning of Kosova’s journey toward freedom, peace and a democratic future.
On the 27th anniversary of Liberation Day, Hoxha paid tribute to all those who contributed to Kosova’s freedom. He expressed respect for their sacrifice and commitment.

In addition, the minister highlighted the progress Kosova has achieved in strengthening its state institutions and democratic system. He also pointed to the country’s growing role in the international arena.

At the same time, Hoxha stressed that freedom carries responsibility as well as rights. He said each generation must preserve and strengthen that achievement for the future.

According to the minister, Kosova’s Liberation Day remains a moment of remembrance and reflection on the country’s path toward democracy and state consolidation.
