FM Hoxha meets Swedish MP Arbër Gashi, highlights diaspora identity and success

TIRANA, April 13 – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met Swedish Member of Parliament Arbër Gashi in Tirana during the fourth Diaspora Summit.

In a social media post, Hoxha described Gashi as a success story and a dignified representative of Albanians abroad. He said such examples reflect the strength and continuity of Albanian identity beyond national borders.

Hoxha stressed that national identity remains strong wherever Albanians live. He said Gashi’s journey shows that this identity not only endures but also grows and adapts over time.

He also pointed to the broader role of the diaspora in strengthening international ties. According to him, well-integrated and active diaspora members help promote Albania on the global stage.

Hoxha said these examples inspire stronger cooperation and closer connections. He added that they contribute to advancing Albania’s image abroad with confidence and credibility.
