TIRANA, September 3 – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met his Montenegrin counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimovic, at the Bled Strategic Forum.
Hoxha highlighted the friendly relations between Albania and Montenegro, describing the two countries as good neighbours, trusted partners and NATO allies. He said the meeting confirmed the stable and friendly relationship between the two countries.
The two ministers also discussed Albania and Montenegro’s progress towards European Union membership. Hoxha said both countries remain at the forefront of the path towards membership.
Meanwhile, the Albanian minister stressed the importance of regional cooperation, security and stability. He also highlighted stronger connections and closer contacts between people across the region.
Hoxha said Albania would continue investing in regional cooperation, connectivity and people-to-people contacts to strengthen trust, bring societies closer together and support a shared European future.
