Former SHISH director Vlora Hyseni on Tuesday appealed the “house arrest” security measure imposed on her before the GJKKO Court of Appeal. The appeal is reported to have been filed by her lawyer, Kastriot Selita.
The case has been registered with the GJKKO Court of Appeal, and a draw is expected to be held to determine the panel of judges and the date of the hearing.
On Thursday, the GJKKO ordered Hyseni to be placed under house arrest and suspended her from office as head of the State Intelligence Service.
She is under investigation as part of SPAK proceedings on suspicion of the criminal offences of “assisting the perpetrator of a crime” and “disclosure of secret acts or information.”
The case is linked to investigations stemming from proceedings against businessman Ergys Agasi.
