Four NATO warships arrived at the port of Vlora on November 2 for joint activities with the Albanian Naval Force. The group includes two German ships, one Italian ship and one Spanish ship.
The vessels will remain in the Bay of Vlora until November 6. Their programme includes port visits on November 3 and 4, followed by joint naval and air manoeuvres on November 5 and 6. NATO warships will take part alongside Albanian naval vessels.
The exercises aim to strengthen cooperation and improve interoperability among allied naval forces. Crews will coordinate maritime and air operations, practise communication and carry out joint operational scenarios. These activities will also help improve readiness and prepare military personnel for coordinated missions under the Alliance.
This marks the second arrival of NATO warships in the Vlora Bay within a month for joint exercises with the Albanian fleet. The area continues to host activities focused on cooperation and interoperability among allied forces.
