Fuel prices cut, diesel at 180 ALL per litre, petrol at 168 ALL per litre

TIRANA, June 16 – The Transparency Board has decided to reduce fuel prices in Albania. It cut diesel by 3 ALL per litre and petrol by 2 ALL per litre.

Under the decision, diesel will sell at a maximum retail price of 180 ALL per litre. The board set the wholesale price at 168 ALL per litre.

Meanwhile, petrol will sell at a maximum retail price of 168 ALL per litre. The wholesale price stands at 156 ALL per litre.

The decision enters into force at 14:00 and remains valid until the next board meeting. The board will then review new market changes.

The Transparency Board reminded fuel operators to comply with the approved prices. It warned that violations may lead to measures, including suspension of activity.
