Haxhiu authorizes Kosovo Security Force deployment to Gaza

Albulena Haxhiu authorized the deployment of the Kosovo Security Force to Gaza. She approved participation in an international stabilization mission.

The Kosovo Parliament previously approved the decision. Kosovo will join a multinational peacekeeping force. Haxhiu said Kosovo takes responsibility for global peace and security. She said the country now contributes instead of only receiving support.

She described the Kosovo Security Force as professional and well-trained. She said it meets high international standards. Kosovo will work alongside strategic partners in the mission. The deployment marks Kosovo’s growing role in international security.
