Household survey of 4,558 families to guide future social policies

TIRANA, July 9 – The Institute of Statistics of Albania, in cooperation with line ministries and partners, reviewed the preliminary results of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey and discussed the preparation of the final report.

The meeting marked an important stage in transforming collected data into analysis and recommendations for more effective public policies.

According to the Institute of Statistics, the survey gathered information from 4,558 households across Albania. The institution said experts will now focus on carefully interpreting the findings and creating reliable evidence to support policies for children’s well-being.

Meanwhile, the results will help institutions design national strategies on children’s rights, education and social protection. They will also support decision-makers in identifying needs and developing evidence-based measures.

The Institute of Statistics highlighted that the process shows the importance of cooperation between public institutions and partners. This collaboration strengthens the national statistical system and supports better decision-making in Albania.
