Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha urged young people to actively engage in Albania’s EU integration process.
He spoke during the “EU and You: Europe Starts Here” tour. He met students at “Sherif Hoxha” high school in Koplik, Malësi e Madhe.
He highlighted the European Union as a successful project of peace, solidarity, and cooperation. He also described it as a space of opportunity for development, knowledge, and human potential.
He stressed that Albania has chosen the Euro-Atlantic path with conviction. He said the country shares core European values, including freedom, democracy, solidarity, and respect for diversity.
He said EU integration requires full participation from society. He emphasized that no one stands outside the process and everyone has a role.
He underlined the importance of the younger generation. He called on students to invest in education and knowledge. He encouraged them to understand the EU better and prepare for active participation.
He said Albania’s EU membership perspective is now more concrete than ever. He urged youth to contribute ideas, energy, and talent.
He said this engagement will help build a more just, developed, and secure European future for Albania.
