Hoxha: Luxembourg strongly supports Albania’s EU membership

Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha visited Luxembourg. He met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel.

Both sides confirmed strong friendship and cooperation. They agreed to deepen ties in key areas. They focused on innovation, technology, and tourism.

Hoxha said Luxembourg strongly supports Albania’s EU membership. He noted Luxembourg’s consistent backing of EU enlargement in the Western Balkans.

They discussed the next steps in accession talks. Hoxha stressed the need for a credible, merit-based process. He said the process should focus on a shared European future.

He expressed interest in further strengthening the partnership. He also welcomed a future visit by Minister Bettel to Albania.
