During his stay in New York, United States, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met with Deputy Assistant Secretary for Western, Central and Southern Europe Daniel Lawton.
The meeting focused on opportunities to further strengthen the US-Albania strategic partnership, as well as the importance of continued and close coordination on shared priorities.
Hoxha and Lawton also discussed the current situation and developments in the Western Balkans.
According to the Foreign Minister, the partnership between the two countries remains an important pillar of their joint engagement as NATO allies.

One day after the signing of the Artemis Accords, I had a productive discussion with Deputy Assistant Secretary for Western, Central and Southern Europe Daniel Lawton.
