Hoxha Meets Qatar Foreign Minister: “We Move Forward with Joint Projects”

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met today Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.

They first met in Tirana. Later, they continued talks in Durrës. Both sides confirmed strong relations. They also confirmed mutual trust and a strong partnership.

Hoxha said both countries agreed to increase high-level visits. He said this will boost cooperation. It will also open new opportunities.

They discussed business potential. They focused on investment from Qatar in Albania. They highlighted sectors like transport, energy, tourism, agriculture, infrastructure, and education.

Hoxha said both governments will continue close political and technical dialogue. He said they will work on concrete joint projects. They will also support investments and strengthen people-to-people ties.

He also thanked Qatar for its support over the years. He highlighted cooperation during times of need.

In addition, Hoxha expressed Albania’s solidarity with Qatar amid recent tensions in the Middle East. He condemned any actions that threaten Qatar’s peace, security, or sovereignty.

Finally, both sides agreed to strengthen relations further. They said cooperation will continue based on respect and shared interests.
