Ibrahimaj: ‘Double Your Business’ Program Helps Companies Expand

Economy and Innovation Minister Delina Ibrahimaj visited a business in Tirana’s Unit No. 2 on Wednesday to highlight the benefits of the “Double Your Business” program.

Ibrahimaj said the program provides financing for businesses planning investments of up to 2 million euros, with repayment periods of up to 10 years.

During her visit to Europtik, the minister met with founder Jonida and discussed her entrepreneurial journey, the challenges she has overcome, and her plans to expand the business.

“Jonida opened a small optical store in 2012. Today, Europtik has grown into a well-established company that represents several leading international eyewear brands and plans to expand beyond Tirana,” Ibrahimaj said.

She added that success stories like Europtik demonstrate the strong potential of Albanian entrepreneurship when businesses gain access to financing and investment support.

Furthermore, Ibrahimaj said the “Double Your Business” program offers low-cost financing with interest rates of up to 3%.

“Through the ‘Double Your Business’ program, we aim to help businesses grow by providing preferential-interest financing, a Sovereign Guarantee, and support in preparing business plans,” she said.

The minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting businesses across Albania by providing information and assistance to help them carry out their investment projects.
