Ibrahimaj: Young People Are Building Innovative Solutions for Albania’s Economy

Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj visited a FinTech company in Tirana to learn about new digital products and innovative projects developed by young Albanian entrepreneurs.

During the visit, she said that startups are playing an increasingly important role in building a modern and competitive economy.

In addition, she emphasized that innovation and digitalization are key pillars of Albania’s sustainable development.

Moreover, Ibrahimaj stressed that supporting young innovators is essential for the country’s economic future.

She also noted that new technology solutions can improve public services and raise citizens’ quality of life.

During discussions, the focus shifted to the role of FinTech companies in transforming public services.

She explained that digital solutions increase efficiency, transparency, and access for citizens.

Meanwhile, company representatives presented their latest projects and discussed challenges and opportunities in the Albanian market.

They highlighted the potential for developing financial technologies and digital services in Albania.

Finally, Ibrahimaj reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.

She added that this goal will be achieved through stronger policies and closer cooperation between public institutions and the private sector.
