Irish referees appointed for Finland-Albania match

UEFA has appointed an Irish refereeing team for Saturday’s Finland-Albania match. Rob Hennessy will serve as the referee.

The 35-year-old Hennessy has held international status since 2017. In addition to officiating matches in the Irish league, he has refereed two UEFA Conference League games this season.

Saturday’s match will be the seventh meeting between Finland and Albania. Finland leads the historical record with four wins. One match ended in a draw, while Albania won the other two.

Albania will look to improve its record in the next meeting, which will be an important test for the national team.
