Is appointed the prosecutor who will execute the decision for Salianji

The lot is cast in the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana, where the prosecutor Elona Alvora has been assigned to execute the decision of the General Court of Appeal for the 1-year prison sentence of the democratic deputy Ervin Salianji.
The order is expected to be delivered to the police, while previously the deputy will be invited to implement it voluntarily.
The Court of Appeals decided on Thursday to uphold the decision of the First Instance for Salianj and his final sentence of 1 year in prison under the charge of false report for the file known as “Babalja”.
The democratic deputy described the court’s decision as political and said that he will continue the battle from the prison cells. After this decision, Salianji loses his mandate as a deputy, and referring to the decriminalization law, he no longer has the right to run in the next elections./abcnews.al
