Italian travel platform Skyscanner.it has included Dhërmi among 20 destinations recommended for enjoying warmer weather during autumn. Its guide highlights places where visitors can combine sunny days, cultural heritage, traditional cuisine and scenic landscapes beyond the peak summer season.

The selection spans European cities, Mediterranean resorts and destinations farther afield. It includes Lisbon, Salerno, Valletta, Marseille, Heraklion, Dubrovnik, Marrakech and Dubai, alongside Dhërmi on Albania’s Ionian coast.

According to the Italian platform, Dhërmi offers clear waters, picturesque beaches and mountain scenery. Visitors can also explore the old village, its traditional houses and churches, and nearby natural attractions.

Among the recommended activities are excursions to Gjipe Canyon, walks along the Mills Trail and visits to St Stephen’s Church. The guide also highlights Albanian traditional dishes, including tavë kosi, and fresh fish served in seaside restaurants.

Meanwhile, the article presents autumn as a quieter period for travel, when lower visitor numbers and milder temperatures can make destinations easier to explore. It lists an average temperature of 24 degrees Celsius for Dhërmi and an indicative autumn temperature of 19 degrees Celsius, noting that actual conditions vary by month and weather.
