Tirana, July 11 – International artist Kanye West will perform today in Tirana. The concert will take place at Eagle Stadium, a venue built specifically in the Kashar area.
To ensure public safety and manage traffic, Tirana Police has announced temporary road restrictions around the event area.
From 07:00 to 24:00, authorities will block traffic on the secondary road of the Durrës–Tirana highway, from the Eiffel area to Casa Italia. The segment will remain open only for vehicles exiting businesses operating in the area.
During the same period, police will also close the highway exit lane at the Casa Italia roundabout.
Meanwhile, from 12:00 to 24:00, authorities will restrict traffic on the Casa Italia–Pavarësia Street–Sokrat Miho Street segment. They will also restrict traffic on the Sokrat Miho Street–Kasem Shima Street–7 Nëntori Street segment, which will operate only in the exit direction.
Police said partial traffic restrictions may also affect the road from the Institute Bridge to Casa Italia, depending on the number of participants.
Only emergency vehicles and State Police vehicles will have access to restricted areas during these hours.
Authorities urged citizens to plan their movements in advance, use alternative routes and follow police instructions.
