The head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, along with the chiefs of the sections for investigating corruption and organized crime, Dorina Bejko and Vladimir Mara, are currently in the United States on a multi-day visit.
According to sources, the special prosecutors have been invited to take part in a series of meetings at different levels.
Their discussions are expected to focus on strengthening cooperation and support for SPAK, as well as on U.S. priorities in combating drug trafficking and criminal cartels.
