Kolonjë Attracts More Foreign Tourists with Natural Beauty and Improved Access

Kolonjë is attracting growing numbers of visitors throughout the year, thanks to its rich natural landscapes and the warm hospitality of local residents.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared autumn footage of the southeastern Albanian region on social media, showing tourists cycling along scenic roads and enjoying its fresh air and unspoiled surroundings.

Infrastructure improvements have also boosted agrotourism in the area. Visitors can now travel from Korçë to Ersekë, Kolonjë’s main town, in just 30 minutes. The region’s mountains, including Mount Gramoz, which rises more than 2,500 metres above sea level, as well as Shelegur, Postenan and Radom, offer attractive destinations for adventure tourism.
