The fourth edition of the “Gjon Mili Video Art Festival” has concluded in Korçë, an event that transformed the city into a meeting point for artists, filmmakers, and creators from various countries around the world for three consecutive days.

The festival offered audiences a rich program featuring video art, short films, documentaries, exhibitions, and contemporary artistic projects. Through the participation of artists from different countries, the event aimed to strengthen cooperation and cultural exchange among artistic communities.

The festival’s closing evening featured a special musical performance at the Andon Zako Çajupi Theatre. Guitarist Nicola Montella performed selected pieces from both classical and contemporary music repertoires.

“This is my first time in Albania, and I am very happy to be giving this concert in Korçë. The city is very beautiful. I was told that Korçë is known as the ‘Little Paris,’ so I am delighted to perform a French Romantic piece written in honor of Paris and Korçë. I also noticed a guitar sculpture in the city center, which is wonderful. I really enjoy the atmosphere here. The theme of the concert is love,” Montella said.

At the conclusion of this year’s edition, the festival’s founder, Yllka Gjollesha, announced that the event will expand to other cities in southern Albania.

The Gjon Mili Video Art Festival once again confirmed its role as one of the most important cultural events in Korçë.

The participation of artists and creators from around the world has helped establish the festival as an important platform for the promotion of international contemporary art.
