Kosova election vote count completed, Self-Determination Movement leads with 42.91%

TIRANA, June 8 – The Central Election Commission of Kosova said it completed the count of all ballot boxes in the parliamentary elections.

Meanwhile, it reported that the Self-Determination Movement won 42.91% of votes, or 299,152 ballots. The Democratic Party of Kosova followed with 21.12%, or 174,220 votes. The Democratic League of Kosova secured 17.58%, or 122,575 votes. The Alliance for the Future of Kosova received 7.16%, or 49,917 votes. The Serbian List won 6.19%, or 43,071 votes.

At the same time, turnout stood at 36.88%, or 722,842 voters, according to the Central Election Commission of Kosova. It also said turnout in the early elections of December 2025 stood at 44.99%.

In addition, the Central Election Commission of Kosova said the figures exclude conditional votes, votes from persons with special needs, and votes cast outside Kosova.

Meanwhile, it said it will continue with verification and counting of votes for parliamentary candidates in 38 Municipal Counting Centres. It added that it will first verify results from polling station forms.

The Central Election Commission of Kosova said it will hold a press conference at 16:30 at the “1 Tetori” centre in Prishtina to announce post-election activities.
