Kosovo Accreditation Agency officially recognized in the United States

The Kosovo Accreditation Agency, through a post on Facebook, announced that it has been officially recognized in the United States.

According to the announcement, the Board of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) has recognized the Kosovo Accreditation Agency as an accrediting authority for seven years.

“The Kosovo Accreditation Agency is officially recognized in the United States of America. The Board of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the U.S. has recognized the Kosovo Accreditation Agency for seven years (until December 31, 2033), granting it the status of ‘accrediting authority’ in the United States.

In the official notification sent to the Director General of the KAA, Naim Gashi, Loretta C. Waldron, Vice President for Recognition Services at the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, confirmed that ‘the CHEA Board of Directors has approved the Committee’s recommendation and has recognized the Kosovo Accreditation Agency as an accrediting authority,’” the statement said.
