Kosovo Heads to Elections, Osmani: Roads Closed by Injustice Are Always Opened by the People

Former President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, reacted this Wednesday following the dissolution of the Kosovo Assembly the previous day and the decision for the country to hold new elections within 45 days.

In a video message published on the social network Facebook, Osmani stated that roads closed by injustice are always opened by the people. She also called on political parties to unite and set aside hatred.

“Last night was a difficult night for Kosovo, but this people has known how to rise even from much harder moments. The time has come for love. Enough with propaganda, division, and the spreading of fear. Where there is hatred, we must bring love; where there is fear, we must bring hope. Where there is propaganda and slander, we must defend the truth,” Osmani said.
