Kosovo teachers holding one-day national strike

The teaching union in Kosovo is staging a one-day strike today. The union is in dispute with the ruling coalition partners over an agreement reached before these parties came to power in 2017 on recognising the contribution of teachers who worked during parallel education system in 90s when Kosovo was under Slobodan Milosevic’s repressive regime.
