TIRANA, June 18 – Lezha celebrated Olympic Day 2026 under the global motto “Let’s Move”. The main square turned into a space dedicated to sport, education, and Olympic values.
According to the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH), 10 city schools took part in the activity. Students presented creative works dedicated to Olympism. Their projects reflected knowledge and interpretation of Olympic values.
Meanwhile, athletes from the “Besëlidhja” club joined the event. School sports teams also participated. They carried out demonstrations and performances. They promoted respect, friendship, and excellence as core Olympic principles.
At the same time, first-grade students created a festive atmosphere. Their energy and enthusiasm added colour and dynamism to the celebration.
Organisers said the Olympic Academy continues its cooperation with the Lezha Regional Directorate of Pre-University Education (DRAP). They said the aim is to promote Olympic education and sports values among young people. They also said the initiative seeks to support a more active and health-oriented generation.
