Mazniku holds high-level talks in Italian Parliament on EU integration

Arbjan Mazniku continues his official visit in Rome with an intensive agenda at the Italian Parliament.

First, he meets members of the Italian Senate and Chamber of Deputies, where he focuses on Albania–Italy strategic relations, EU integration, and economic cooperation.

Then, Italian representatives express strong and unconditional support for Albania’s EU membership bid and praise ongoing reforms led by Edi Rama.

Next, Mazniku meets members of the Italy–Albania Friendship Group, including senior Italian senators, to strengthen interparliamentary cooperation and institutional ties.

Moreover, he discusses territorial reform with Senator Francesco Silvestro, focusing on Italy’s regional governance model and EU funding opportunities.

In addition, Italian lawmakers from across the political spectrum express readiness to visit Albania and support its EU integration process.

Finally, Mazniku highlights that Italy remains a key strategic partner for Albania, especially as the country advances in EU accession negotiations. He confirms that the Albanian delegation continues its institutional meetings in the Italian Parliament.
