MP Sara Mila raises concerns about the implementation of Corridor VIII in Parliament. She says residents in the Elbasan County face several problems on the ground.
In Papër and nearby areas, people report land registration issues. Some families are missing from official records. Others face errors in land size.
Residents in Broshkë request updated land data and parallel secondary roads. They say access for ambulances, fire trucks, and farm vehicles is difficult.
In Valas, locals ask for a functional underpass to ensure normal movement. In Vidhas and Balldren, families report missing names, unclear compensation, and lack of access roads.
Mila says farmers cannot move freely across divided land plots. She highlights the need for accurate documentation. She calls on local authorities to support residents.
She asks municipalities to verify cases, ensure transparency, and provide answers. Mila stresses that development must include fairness for affected families.
She says the Papër–Elbasan axis has strong potential. She describes Corridor VIII as a key European opportunity for Elbasan.
She urges institutions to act with European standards and listen to citizens’ concerns.
