Mountain Package: 36 municipalities identify 304 priority zones

The Mountain Package covers 36 municipalities. Authorities identified 304 priority zones.

Minister Ervin Demo said individuals with historically used land can apply. Farmers who have worked these lands for years can also benefit.

Municipalities play a key role. They define priority areas and support applications. Authorities will publish maps on the e-Albania platform. Citizens will check if their property falls inside a priority zone. They will then submit applications.

More than 600 expressions of interest were registered in Tirana. Officials will open formal applications after final approval of the zones.

The package aims to support small and medium enterprises. It seeks to boost local economies and tourism. Demo said Tirana offers strong potential due to its diversity and high tourist flow.
