The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, stated at the opening of the new parliamentary session that Albania has entered a decisive phase in the process of negotiations for membership in the European Union.
During his speech, Balla said that the Socialist parliamentary group would organize its relationship with citizens through “Besa” and “Prania Besnike.”
“We, as a parliamentary group, are entering this session with a new way of organizing our relationship with the people, through ‘Besa’ and ‘Prania Besnike.’ This is a session that carries a great deal of responsibility due to the duties this governing institution has in Albania’s European Union accession process.
Albania has entered the decisive phase of negotiations. Our political objective is clear: to conclude the technical negotiations by 2030 and for Albania to become a member of the EU within this decade, meaning by 2030. This is a national objective,” he said.
