TIRANA, August 11 – Shkodër Municipality is setting up a new tourist information office in the city centre. The facility will guide visitors and provide information about local destinations, activities and tourism services.
The office will have dedicated staff and digital services. Visitors will receive free information throughout the day. They will also have access to printed brochures and guides. Renato Lumçi, Director of Tourism at Shkodër Municipality, said the office would soon begin operating.
Meanwhile, local tourism operators will have a dedicated space inside the office. They will use it to present their businesses, services and tourism packages. The initiative will create a direct link between visitors and local tourism providers.
The new facility will be Shkodër Municipality’s second tourist information office. The municipality also operates an information point in Theth, one of northern Albania’s most visited mountain destinations.
