“Not in My Name”, Protest in Berlin Against Sentencing of Former KLA Leaders

Albanian emigrants from different parts of Germany gathered outside the German Parliament in Berlin on Sunday for a protest under the slogan “Not in My Name.”

The rally was organized to express opposition to the guilty verdicts handed down by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers against former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). Participants voiced dissatisfaction with the court’s recent decisions, arguing that the judicial process does not reflect what they consider to be the historical truth of the Kosovar people’s liberation war.

Sunday’s protest in the German capital is part of a broader wave of demonstrations under the slogan “Not in My Name,” organized in support of the values associated with the KLA’s war and to call for impartial justice.
