There’s a moment during a good night out when you realize that the party is no longer just the party you came for.
It has become something else.
At Moyo Beach, in the south of Albania, everything started exactly as you might imagine: the sea, summer, people, lights, and music keeping the crowd moving well into the night.
But what I liked most was that there were spaces to do something other than dance.
In one corner of the event was the IQOS space, dedicated to adult nicotine users who wanted to spend time together. Amid the music and lights of the evening, it had a more relaxed atmosphere where you could hang out with friends and, why not, put yourself to the test with different challenges.
I quickly discovered that those interactive experiences, which could be found in the IQOS space, brought out a little friendly competition. All it took was for someone to get a good result, and someone else would immediately want to beat it. I decided to take on the challenge myself. At first, I thought I would give it just one try, but once you see your result, it is hard not to think you could do a little better. And before I knew it, I was giving it another go.
Perhaps these are exactly the little moments that stay with you after a summer night. A song you heard at just the right time, a funny moment with friends, or a challenge that made you say, “Okay, just one last try,” before heading back to the music.
And at Moyo, the night was full of moments like these.
A performance that keeps you on your feet. A game that pulls you out of the crowd. A moment you never planned for.
