Organized Beaches and Improved Services Make Pogradec a Summer Destination

Pogradec, one of Albania’s most popular destinations on the shores of Lake Ohrid, is attracting many domestic and international visitors this summer season.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images from Pogradec’s beaches, showing organized public spaces and free umbrellas available for visitors.

The lakeside city offers clean waters, open areas for tourists and improved infrastructure. Visitor numbers increase especially during weekends due to the high summer temperatures.

Meanwhile, local authorities have increased cleaning, maintenance and security services at public beaches to provide better conditions for residents and tourists.

Pogradec continues to strengthen its position as a leading lake tourism destination in Albania by combining the natural beauty of Lake Ohrid with traditional cuisine, hospitality and a growing tourism offer.
