TIRANA, April 9 – Over 100 athletes from across Albania joined the National Athletics and Table Tennis Tournament for people with intellectual disabilities. The event promotes inclusive sports and social equality.

Athletes competed with energy and respect. They showed how sports can overcome social and physical barriers.

The Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH) organized the tournament. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports and Tirana Municipality supported it.

Officials at the event included KOKSH President Fidel Ylli, Secretary General Gerti Shima, Special Olympics Albania Director Sara Bala, Athletics Federation President Izmir Smajlaj, and Table Tennis Federation President Krenar Dila.
