TIRANA, August 31 – Albania plans to provide more than 5,700 learning packages for children in the diaspora during the 2026–2027 school year. The packages contain around 17,000 textbooks. They will reach 15 European countries, the United States and Canada.
The materials include the joint textbooks “Albanian Language” and “Albanian Culture”. They cover the first, second and third levels. The Centre for Diaspora Publications and the Ministry of Education will work to meet 100% of requests.
This school year also introduces the third level. The addition marks an important step toward completing the joint textbook cycle for the diaspora.
Meanwhile, Albanian diplomatic missions are updating student and teacher data. They are also updating distribution addresses. Parents and teachers can follow announcements from Albanian embassies and diplomatic missions in their respective countries.
