Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi met today with the new Dutch Ambassador to Albania, Marleen Monster. They discussed ways to intensify political dialogue and strengthen bilateral relations.
The two sides praised cooperation between Albania and the Netherlands. They also focused on parliamentary ties and exchanges between the Albanian Parliament, the Dutch House of Representatives and the Senate.
Peleshi thanked the Netherlands for its continued support for Albania’s European Union accession process.
He also highlighted the progress in parliamentary cooperation between the two countries. Peleshi stressed the importance of further strengthening Albania-Netherlands relations as Albania advances toward EU membership.
