TIRANA, August 24 – Prime Minister Edi Rama will meet his cabinet ministers in Pogradec today to discuss priorities for the second year of the Socialist Party’s fourth governing term. The meeting follows a session with the party’s political leaders from Albania’s 12 counties and the heads of parliamentary committees. Ministers will report on their work so far and outline priorities for the year ahead.
Meanwhile, Rama shared a photo from Pogradec on social media. He described it as a “crystal fragment of Pogradec’s nature”. Earlier, the prime minister presented the “Besa” and “Pasqyrë Albania” [Mirror Albania] initiatives at the meeting with party and parliamentary officials.
According to Rama, “Mirror Albania” will create a single platform for citizens’ concerns. Institutions will record and track each request in real time. The system will also allow authorities to monitor their responsibilities and identify missed deadlines.
At the same time, Rama said the government wants every citizen’s request, concern or complaint to reach the responsible institution and remain traceable throughout the process.
