Prime Minister Edi Rama shared photos on X from a meeting with Turkey’s new ambassador to Albania, Ceyhun Erciyes.
“It is a pleasure to welcome the new ambassador of our brotherly Turkey,” Rama wrote on X.
The Prime Minister also reposted a message from the Turkish Embassy in Tirana, which highlighted the excellent level of bilateral relations between the two countries and the progress achieved in various areas of cooperation.
“Prime Minister of Albania H.E. Edi Rama received the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Tirana, H.E. B. Ceyhun Erciyes, on a courtesy visit. During the meeting, both sides praised the excellent level of bilateral relations between the two countries and welcomed the progress of cooperation across various sectors. The parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening relations, particularly in the economic field. Ambassador Erciyes also expressed his satisfaction regarding Prime Minister Rama’s upcoming visit to Ankara on the occasion of the NATO Summit,” the Turkish Embassy said in its statement.
