President Begaj and First Lady Host Children of Armed Forces Women for Children’s Day

President Bajram Begaj and First Lady Armanda Begaj hosted a special Children’s Day event on 1 June in Tirana.

They welcomed children of women serving in the Albanian Armed Forces. They organized the annual reception to celebrate 1 June, International Children’s Day.

The President praised the service of female military personnel. He said they represent national pride. He also said they serve the country with dedication.

Meanwhile, he encouraged children to enjoy the celebration. He urged them to play, to make friends, and to build strong relationships. He said friendship and love should guide life.

In addition, First Lady Armanda Begaj honored the women in uniform. She called them dedicated mothers who make their children and the nation proud. She also invited children to show appreciation through applause.

After that, children released balloons into the sky. They symbolized dreams and hopes for the future. Furthermore, the celebration continued with artistic performances. Children from Durrës performed dances and cultural shows.

In addition, a puppet show entertained the audience. The National Circus team also delivered performances.

Finally, the event included games and competitions. Children took part in sports and traditional activities in a festive outdoor atmosphere.
