TIRANA, July 28 – President Bajram Begaj met with Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlic-Radman to discuss relations between Albania and Croatia. The two officials focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the countries.
During the meeting, they highlighted Croatia’s continued support for Albania’s European integration. They also discussed cooperation in the economy, defence, energy, infrastructure and tourism.
Meanwhile, President Begaj thanked Croatia for its continued advocacy for Albania and its integration process in international forums. He also welcomed Croatia’s readiness to continue supporting Albania throughout this process.
Begaj expressed appreciation for Croatia’s support for Kosovo. He said cooperation between Albania and Croatia remains important for peace, security and stability in the region.
